I have an autopot system growing 6 tomato plants which I have used for many years. I feed as advised but on larger tomatoes, (San Marzano, Jack Hawkins), get some blossom end rot. This doesn’t happen with smaller tomatoes. Any ideas as to why this happens please?

Hi There…. I have had problems with San Marzano all year with blossom end root. There are many issues that cause blossom end rot they are as follows:

    High and low temperature changes
    High and low humidity changes
    Under and over watering

These are just a few ….. in an ideal world if the temperature was constantly at 25oc and the humidity 70-75% all the time I would suspect all would be OK.
