[Resolved] Coco and perlite or pebble

    Hi

    I know you guys recommend 50/50 coco/perlite or coco/pebble.
    But I cannot find any premix to buy, what I can find is 60/40 coco/perlite or coco/pebble.
    I can also find same with 70/30 mix.
    Are they OK to use, even as low as 70/30 mix or should I never go below 60/40 or 50/50?

    Also, is there any difference if I use coco mix with perlite or pebbles, is one better then the other when using with autopots?
    Same with the 1-2″ layer at the bottom, does it matter if its perlite or pebbles, is one better to use then the other?

    Hi Ivik….. All the substrates you suggest will be fine….. just water through once to run off and then let the plant/s establish before you turn on the reservoir….
