    Hi,
I have a 6 pot system set up with aqua plates so I can grow lettuce and herbs hydroponically. I have the copper socks in place. My first round of lettuces came out great. But the last two rounds I’ve tried, the leaves are turning brown on the edges and the growth stalls.

I did clean the pots out between the 2nd and 3rd round, but I’m having the same problem again.

It appears that the pH in the reservoir is fine, but the pH in the pots are too acidic. There also is a teal colored sediment.

Hi ….. have you changed anything compared to your first run … when everything was OK…. is the water hotter in the trays, ideally it should be cool for lettuce around 18oc…. also lower levels of feed are required for lettuce…

The set up is in a room in my house that’s kept at 68 degrees so it should be constant. I start the seeds in rockwool cubes and transfer the cubes to the little baskets with the blue sponge circle on the bottom.

I’m using General Hydroponics MaxiGro 10-5-14 for food. 1.5 tsp per gallon. I could try cutting it back to 1 tsp per gallon and see if it helps.

But I think all of these factors were the same in the first batch that went really well.
