Hello, I’ve noticed the pot sock copper material degrades after one cycle, and I’m looking at recoating them, rather than buying new ones for £4 each. I’ve read a bit about copper hydroxide dissolved into latex paint. But I was wonder if a metallic spray paint with real copper flakes will do the trick?

    Something like this:

    Thanks

Hi There….. there is no need to do this, the copper is still there it has not degraded it has just oxidised, they will still work fine. Just wash with warm soapy water and rinse off and your good to go again….. Im still using the same ones after 5 years of constant use.
