    I’m having trouble with roots growing over the Potsock in a Smartpot 8 XL system. The potsock appears to be too short to prevent roots from growing over it and into the valves. I’ve been flooded 3 times now due to this.

    The potsock is working, no roots grow thru it, but on 6 of the 8 pots so far they have grown over the top and into the valve area.

    Do you make a taller sock? I see no potential drawbacks in having them an inch taller, which should resolve this issue.

    Sorry for the slow response, I did not get an email saying that there was activity on the thread.

    I can measure them tonight to be 100% accurate, however I would say they are between 1.5 and 2 inches tall.

    If you make a taller one, I would like to purchase several. If not, I may try to fashion something myself.

    The ones that I have are just under 2 inches tall. Also all the copper seems to have (I assume) leached into the water / pot since there is none left on the potsock. Is that normal after 1 grow?
