[Resolved] Trays won’t stop filling

    Connected my 24 pot system up and all the valves and silicones are seated correctly. Yet it continues to fill past the hole on the side of the tray where the blue hoses come in.

    Should there not be some type of seal at the hose entrance? Seems strange to me.

    I disconnected all but 2 trays to watch and have confirmed it does not stop filling. I checked level of the trays and confirmed level front to back and side to side.

    Thought possibly my res has to much pressure as its a full 1000L ibc tote.
    So I tried it again with the valve open only a 1/8 of a turn.

    Still leaks.

    Tested each valve by holding it upside down in my palm and blowing air into the hose with my mouth, unless I hold my finger on the fill float. Air can still get through when I blow.

    Are these silicones defective ?

    I’m quite frustrated

    if you have the new tray design…. the store that you purchased from should have supplied 9mm top hat grommets for each tray.

    They did not include the grommets. Nor did the instructions included make mention of it.

    The store is not returning my calls or emails, so Im a bit upset.

    I purchased 3/8″ grommets from home depot and it no longer leaks.

    You need to fix your instructions and include the correct parts, for the price I paid, I should not have issues like this

    System way too dodgy to leave alone.. Trays keep filling and overflowing. I’ve cleaned silicone and valves again and again. Turned the silicones around to try that.. ideas please?
