[Resolved] webbish substance outside smart pot

    Hi

    I have noticed that there is a white / grey web looking substance which on the outside of the smartpots (between the pot and the root control fabric). Is this normal?
    The only thing I’ve added to the water is silica.

    Hi, it will be excess salts evaporating from the water on the outside surface of the pot, it’s probably more visible due to the silicon addition. If the plants look fine you can simply wipe it away but I would doubt it will affect the plant, its very common
